The Japan Folk Crafts Museum preserves old and new traditional crafts from all over Japan, which were handmade as daily necessities for common people.
The museum has a collection of about 8,000 items, mainly ceramics from the Old Tamba and Old Seto periods, as well as lacquerware, dyed textiles and other items, which are always on display.
