Tsuriganeya Honpo was established in 1900 and is a long-established Japanese confectionery shop.
Its specialty is “Tsurigane-manju”. The sponge cake is shaped like the temple bell of Shitennoji Temple and filled with sweet bean paste. Meidai Basho, a famous banana-shaped and fragrant confectionery, is another popular item. It is a great souvenir to take back home.
