The Osaka International Peace Center is a facility that exhibits research and studies related to war and peace.
It also holds various events to promote mutual exchange between people in Japan and abroad.
It is a peace museum established jointly by the prefectural and municipal governments to convey to the next generation the tragic war experience and the preciousness of peace, and is popularly known as “Peace Osaka.
The museum exhibits the history of war from the Manchurian Incident to World War II through a model and diorama of the Minami district, which was ruined by air raids.
