Gofuso is a villa built over a period of ten years by the Terada family, a conglomerate, on the site of a new teahouse owned by the Ogabe family, lords of Kishiwada Castle.
The garden is a large 7,000 square-meter garden with a circular path through the grounds. The pond in the center of the garden is beautifully floated with water lilies, and other elaborate masonry structures can be seen.
