Utsubo Park is a long and narrow park with a total area of 9.7 ha, 800 m east to west and 150 m north to south, and is a popular place for residents to relax in the heart of the city.

The park makes lavish use of its vast grounds, which include a rose garden with 3,200 rose plants and a tennis center with 16 courts that are used for international tournaments.

The park is also known for its cherry blossoms in the spring and autumn leaves in the fall.
